2020 Revision Resources

On this page I will be adding revision resources for the 2020 GCSE Science examinations.

The first set is what I call “predicted papers”. I have looked at the papers sat in 2018 and then compared them to the specification. I have then made a paper which only covers topics not on the 2018 paper.

Below are Powerpoint presentations designed for use as knowledge organisers. I print them off and give to students to construct their own revision notes, usually on A3 paper.

This is for Physics GCSE Paper 1. It has the full content for Separate Physics. If you require Combined Science (Physics) simply remove the additional content.

Next are sheets I have created for remembering and rearranging formulae. I have tried to put the questions in the form used in the examinations but have left space for rearrangement and questions to find all of the variables in an expression. Also, there is the powerpoint slide to start the students off in how to use the sheet.

Recall of formulas and equations can be a stumbling block for students. I have created this word document with simple sentences and pictures to try to help the students recall them.

On the higher tier papers, there are questions which require the use of two equations. Our centre is weak in the teaching of this and to hopefully improve this, we have created a resource to develop the skills to answer them. Please download, share and comment.
